The Piper at the Gates of Dawn, che tradotto in italiano significa "Il pifferaio alle soglie dell'alba", è stato il primo album inciso dai leggendari Pink Floyd, e che portò la band al vertice della psichedelia, la versione originale venne incisa nel lontano 1967, i brani vennero scritti tutti da Syd Barrett scomparso nel 2006, tranne "Take Up Thy Stethoscope and Walk" che fu composta da Roger Waters. Il doppio album proposto è una versione rimasterizzata usciata nel 2007.
